Description
The BlazeSports Learn to Train Swim program caters to athletes who are already swim proficient and want to develop their strokes/technique in a more competitive manner. Our BlazeSwim Coaches work with our athletes closely so that each athlete can adapt their stroke technique to cater to their unique ability. The BlazeSwim team will compete in at least (3) adaptive swim meets during a typical year: The Fred Lambach Disability Meet, The Peachtree Paragames - hosted by BlazeSports and the Move United Junior Nationals.
In order to join this program, athletes must be able to swim independently without support and have some knowledge of the swim strokes.
PRACTICE TIME: Saturdays. 9am-10am

Competitions: April 18th-Palmetto Games, June20-21-Peachtree Paragames, July 14-16-Nationals
WHO:
- Youth ages 6 – 22 with a physical disability including but not limited to amputation, spinal cord injury, cerebral palsy, spina bifida, muscular dystrophy and other related disabilities.
COST:
- Free for BlazeSports America Annual Youth Members. The BlazeSports America swimming program is included in a one-time BlazeSports America annual fee of $100 which allows you to participate in as many BlazeSports programs as you would like throughout the year. No additional fees required!
